Great Lakes Cheese built a new state-of-the-art yogurt, sour cream and cottage cheese plant in Adams, NY. One of IPACS Alliance Partners, Excel Engineering, Fond du Lac, Wis., designed the process and the building.
IPACS responsibilities include:
- Pre-project bid specifications for control system, instrumentation, MCC components
- Facilitated bid reviews and presentations with customer
- Electrical design for all control panels for utilities, process, MCC’s and material handling
- Network design for entire plant

Replaced tank level manometers, added culture tanks and re-wrote Culture CIP software interface between a Westinghouse PLC and a Control Logix’s PLC for new CIP system. IPACS responsibilities include:
